GRADE 3 FEATURE AT LIMERICK: Irish racing resumes at Limerick this afternoon and SHAMROCK NAPS in the featured Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase at 3.50pm.

Gordon Elliott is on a run of 21 without a winner before racing today which, given how invincible his string was at Cheltenham, is a surprising stat.

He should prove that is nothing more than a blip and get back on the winning track with General Principle in the Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase at Limerick this afternoon.

The two Gigginstown owned runners dominate and preference is for General Principle who was an easy winner at Gowran Park last time out and should be suited by the extra half mile here.

All Hell Let Loose won over 2m 3f at Kilbeggan and was then pitched in at the deep end at Cheltenham in the Close Brothers Novices’ Handicap Chase but was pulled up after the eighth. He has 8lb to find with the selection on official ratings which might be beyond him today.
