TIPPERARY WASHED OUT: Unfortunately today’s meeting at Tipperary has been cancelled due to waterlogging.
The track were set to unveil their new facilities after a €400,000 redevelopment which includes a new entrance building and relocation of the pre-saddling area in front of the stands.
Racecourse manager Jane Davis said: “It’s most unfortunate in view of all the work that has been done but parts of the track are waterlogged and another 10-15 mm of rain is forecast.”
“We have been in touch with Horse Racing Ireland about rescheduling the fixture and we’ll await their decision.”
Tipperary’s next scheduled meeting is on May 2.
