15/8 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed his nap and only bet on Monday with CONTINGENCY (NAP) WON 15/8 at Galway. He returns to Galway on Tuesday to look at the Listed race on the card.
A nice 15/8 winning nap to start the week.
Back to Galway for flat action on Tuesday and the feature race is the Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes (Fillies’ Listed) at 4.35pm.
The going is forecast as soft which should suit the Willie Mullins trained Airlie Beach who won over two miles at Tramore last time out but is an unknown quantity over today’s trip of a mile and a half.
She was a prolific winner over jumps – winning her first seven races including over 2m 5f but I think over this trip looks opposable.
I thought High Language win and place looks interesting. The lightly raced Joseph O’Brien trained runner still has plenty of improvement to find but that’s by no means out of the question.
She won her maiden at Killarney last time out having previously run close up thirds at Gowran Park and Galway.
