CONRAD WORTH THE WAIT AT KILLARNEY: SHAMROCK previews the final race on Tuesday’s mixed card at Killarney – an interesting novice chase at 8.50pm.
Patience might be the key word on Tuesday with the best bet at Killarney looking to be Conrad Hastings in the concluding novice chase.
Despite a field of just five – it looks a good contest with three of them last time out winners.
Conrad Hastings was one of those. He fairly bolted home on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan – winning by 17 lengths and staying on particularly well in the closing stages suggesting tonight’s extra trip will be ideal.
Potters Point made a winning debut over fences but has kept finding a few too good in recent starts.
His third to Landofhopeandglory at Kilbeggan is probably good form in the context of tonight’s race but I’m not altogether certain that the longer trip will suit.
