VAUTOUR STAYS AT HOME: Willie Mullins Gold Cup hope Vautour could race at Gowran Park this weekend rather than the Denman Chase at Newbury.
Vautour (trading at around 5.6 on BETDAQ for the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup) looks set to miss the Denman Chase at Newbury and in favour of a possible crack the Red Mills Chase at Gowran Park.
Owner Rici Ricci has made it clear that he believes Vautour would benefit from another race before the Festival next month.
The Denman Chase has been re-opened having attracted an initial entry of just four.
