SHAMROCK HEADS TO FAIRYHOUSE: the Group 3 Brownstown Stakes is the feature race on tonight’s card at 7pm.

Having made the case for opposing the long term maiden One True Love at Gowran Park last night she finally managed to win on the 11th attempt and in doing so denied us a winning nap by a neck.
Hopefully we’ll have some better luck tonight at Fairyhouse where the Group 3 Brownstown Stakes is the feature race on the card at 7.00.
The race has an open look about it with the Demot Weld trained Along Came Casey the favourite on BETDAQ at around 3.05 at the time of writing. She was impressive at Leopardstown last time out a fortnight ago when bolting home in a Listed race but this looks tougher and she is possibly not going to be as effective over this shorter trip.
I like Fiesolana who bids for a hat-trick after winning a competitive handicap at the Curragh and then stepping up to Group 3 level to win at Leopardstown.
She has to improve again, but that seems probable over a trip that should suit.
