7/4 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed a winning nap from his only bet on Tuesday – CONRAD HASTINGS in the final race at Killarney.

A winning nap last night – but only just !!

Conrad Hastings was joined after jumping the last in the lead and needed plenty of assistance from Ruby Walsh to get his head in front and win at 7/4.

Killarney’s July Festival continues tonight with a mixed card starting at 5.55pm on yielding to soft ground.

Airlie Beach makes her flat debut for Willie Mullins in the 1m 6f maiden at 6.25pm but has plenty of experience under jumps rules and might have a bit too much class for these.

She notched up a fantastic seven timer at the beginning of her career culminating with a Grade 1 triumph in the Royal Bond at Fairyhouse.

She was a Grade 1 second to Apple’s Jade last time out at the Punchestown Festival and has had an 81 day break since then.

There’s still a question mark over the form of the Dermot Weld stable and his runner here Alaykha is quite hard to assess.

She finished third (promoted to second) in a bunch finish to a maiden at Limerick on her flat debut and will be suited by the step up in trip but the form of that race looked average and was on much faster ground than she’ll race over tonight.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Airlie Beach (6.25 Killarney)
