BACK TO GALWAY: SHAMROCK heads back to Galway on Thursday when there are several short priced favourites on the all-jumping card.

In the end there were no problems for Alelchi Inois as he continued his upwardly mobile progress at Galway yesterday with a smooth win in the Ballybrit Novice Chase.

A great jump at the last sealed victory for the Willie Mullins trained six-year-old who is now four from four over fences.

Back to Galway today when there are several short priced favourites on the card.

Dandridge has been running well in bumpers and should get off the mark over hurdles by winning the opener at 4.30 where the opposition looks questionable to say the least.

The beginners chase at 6.00 looks at the mercy of the Noel Meade trained Please Talk who was second at Roscommon last time out and looks to have a really easy task here granted a clear round.

I’m sticking though with Willie Mullins for the nap and Lyrical Theatre in the 7.30 at Galway – the closing bumper. The mare created a huge impression on debut at Sligo when winning by an un-extended 20 lengths. This is tougher but she has bundles of potential.
