Seven races at Naas tonight and the feature is very much the Naas Oaks Trial at 7.30pm.
The trend of Aidan O’Brien and Dermot Weld alternating with the winner of this race looks set to continue with the Weld trained Discipline looking hard to beat.
She was very impressive on debut at Gowran Park when winning by seven and a half lengths on heavy ground and returned to the course in April when she finished a head second to Bocca Baciata in a Listed race. The pair finished six lengths clear of the third and the winner has gone on to run reasonably well in two Group races.
Aidan O’Brien is well represented with four runners – the pick is Earring who was a 14 length second on debut at Navan but went one better in a maiden at Gowran Park last time when beating An Cailin Orga who has won subsequently.
