A very easy win for the nap yesterday Hardback who sauntered home in the beginners chase at Kilbeggan at 8/11.

Understate looks the best bet on the Navan card in the one mile maiden at 3.25pm. A son of Oasis Dream, he made his debut here at Navan when fifth but then improved for the drop back in trip at Listowel on Sunday to finish second to Wentwood.
The winner looked quite useful and he can make it third time lucky on this quick reappearance.
The Dermot Weld trained Manzil should leave his debut effort at the Curragh well behind and looks the danger.
