ARSENAL V EVERTON

8pm It’s been a very busy week in the Premier League and we have Friday Night Football to enjoy next as Arsenal host Everton. It’s fair to say it has been a disappointing season for both sides, however much more so Arsenal. Everton gave it a good go to try and get into Europe and they won’t come up too far short. If they can keep improving, they will challenge again next season. The reality is they had their chance this season and they blew it with some losses at critical times when the teams around them lost too.

As for Arsenal, what can you say? They have been very poor in the Premier League but they have a Europe League Semi-Final to look forward to next week. Perhaps their focus will already be on that competition, as they can’t achieve anything in the Premier League – it looks like if they don’t win the Europa League they won’t be seeing European football next season. It was very disappointing to see them draw 1-1 with Fulham, but they just keep letting games slip away from them.

Arsenal dominated the game, with xG finishing 2.92 to 0.91 to Arsenal. Much like the first leg against Slavia Prague, they just didn’t kill the game off like they should have done. On paper Everton look desperately out of form but their xG figures aren’t actually that bad. They were very unlucky to draw with Crystal Palace and lost to Burnley – they should have easily won both games. It wouldn’t be harsh to suggest both sides should come with a wealth warning on BETDAQ Betting Exchange as they just aren’t winning the games they should!

We lost on Arsenal to beat Fulham at the weekend, but I feel they are worth backing again here at 2.06. I’m happy to keep stakes very small, as we all know you can’t trust Arsenal with anything other than an average sized bet. However, they continue to play good football despite not winning games. I still feel it’s fair to say that they have been playing their best football of the season recently – and while that might not be good enough to be in the Top Six anymore, it’s good enough to beat this Everton side who lack a spark at the moment.

The Striker Says:
One point win Arsenal to beat Everton at 2.06 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
