ASTON VILLA V LEEDS

8pm Premier League Friday Night Football is back! We have an absolute cracker to start Matchday six as the high flying Aston Villa take on Leeds. I’m sure many football punters would have fancied the impressive Leeds to finish above Aston Villa this season, and while that might still happen, Aston Villa look like a completely different side this year! They have been in the news that they are “the new Leicester” after their start, and while it’s highly unlikely that they will even finish in the Top Four; their fans can certainly dream after the start they have had.

Villa have been a new side since returning from lockdown. They looked to be heading to the Championship prior to March, but they corrected their issues at the back after lockdown and they have been a different team since. With the added confidence of staying up on the final day, they have now started scoring too. They have built their success on being solid at the back, but they are now attacking with confidence. Tonight should be a very interesting game.

Leeds have started life in the Premier League very well. They’ll be very pleased to kick off tonight in tenth position, and while it’s very early days; it looks like they will finish the season in or around the same position. Everyone said they shocked Manchester City with 1-1 draw, but looking at xG they were actually unlucky to draw. They won on xG 2.71 to 1.45, not many teams do that to City. They’ve been involved in some crazy games, with a 4-3 loss over Liverpool and 4-3 win over Fulham. We’ve seen some in-running carnage on BETDAQ Betting Exchange in Leeds game already!

While Villa have been impressive, they were fully entitled to beat Sheffield United and Fulham. Of course winning against Liverpool and Leicester is the impressive bit – not many fans will forget the 7-2 win over Liverpool in a hurry! Both sides are playing some good football, and while over 2.5 goals is very tempting at 1.8 given the chances both have been creating, I like the draw here at 3.65. I think this will be a very close game, and the draw is worth a small investment at the odds.

The Striker Says:
One point win Draw at 3.65 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
