CHAMPIONSHIP: The Striker previews Tuesday’s Championship game between QUEENS PARK RANGERS v SWANSEA at 7.45pm.

QUEENS PARK RANGERS V SWANSEA

7.45pm We have a busy night ahead in the Championship on BETDAQ Betting Exchange on Tuesday. We have five fixtures to enjoy, but QPR v Swansea looks the pick of them and it’s live on Sky Sports too. A lot has changed at Swansea this season and they have been having a terrible run. After finishing a very promising 4th last season, they come into this game sitting in 17th. They have a few games in hand on the teams around them and they could jump up to mid-table after winning those games, but it’s still a very disappointing season.

This seems an ideal time to back QPR and I was very surprised to see them trading odds against when I clicked into the market. They arrive into this fixture on a five game winning run in all competitions and they have been grinding out their wins. They aren’t exactly creating high xG figures and blowing teams away, but they are controlling games while giving away very little. When you look at the amount of chances that Swansea have been conceding this season, I feel there is only one winner here.

Swansea have conceded xG figures like 2.23, 2.13, and 1.52 recently and on average they have conceded an xG of 1.4 this season. Given the fact they have created less than that, you can see why they are so low in the table. QPR have been rock solid this season at home too – the only game they got out played here recently was the 1-0 loss to Bournemouth but they have been a top class side this season and looked very strong. Even in the 2-0 loss to Stoke here in December, they created an xG of 2.77 and were obviously unlucky to lose.

I feel this fixture lands at a great time for QPR – they are on a nice winning run and playing with confidence. I know they haven’t been blowing sides away, but they have been conceding very little and when you look at how poor Swansea have been at the back lately I feel that’s what will win the game here. West Brom are a much better side than Swansea for example, but they could only manage a 0.95 xG here and QPR grinded out another win. It might not be a very pretty game or enjoyable for neutrals but the 2.12 on a home win looks very good value.

The Striker Says:
Three points win Queens Park Rangers to beat Swansea at 2.12 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
