BUNDESLIGA / LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s matches between AUGSBURG V BAYERN MUNICH and LEVANTE V ATHLETIC BILBAO both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

AUGSBURG V BAYERN MUNICH

7.30pm Club football returns on Friday night as the World Cup Qualifiers drew to a close on Tuesday, and we have an excellent weekend ahead on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We’re back to our usual Friday night in Europe with one game from the Bundesliga and one from La Liga. We start in the Bundesliga with the German Champions Bayern Munich traveling to take on Augsburg. It was a really good weekend for Bayern prior to the International break, they beat Freiburg 2-1 and Dortmund also lost, so they resume action with a four point lead at the top of the table. While Bayern are enjoying themselves at the top of the table, Augsburg are in a battle to stay in the Bundesliga. They only have nine points from 11 games, and they will start the weekend in the relegation playoff spot. Things are looking quite bad for them to be honest; although Greuther Furth will definitely take up last place – it’s hard to see who swaps places with Augsburg. I mean Eintracht Frankfurt are two spots ahead of them at the moment, it’s hard to see a side like them go down!

I feel this is a case of how many goals Bayern will score rather than will they win. The markets agree as they are trading 1.2 at the time of writing. To be honest, it’s close to impossible to see past the Bayern win here given the gulf in class between the sides. Augsburg have been struggling to create chances all season, hence why they are in the bottom three, but also every time they have some up against a half decent side they have conceded chances and goals for fun. Dortmund beat them 2-1, but they created an xG of 3.11 and should have scored more. They have already conceded xG’s of 2.8, 3.2 and 3.53 outside that Dortmund game too. Giving chances away like that against Bayern only means one thing – a big loss! Any Other Away Win is tempting in the Correct Score market, but Bayern at 2.13 -2.5 goals looks the best value option here.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Bayern Munich -2.5 goals to beat Augsburg at 2.13 with BETDAQ Exchange.

LEVANTE V ATHLETIC BILBAO

8pm To end the evening we move to La Liga with Levante hosting Athletic Bilbao. As the weeks and games pass by, Levante are increasingly under pressure. They are going to start the weekend sitting in 19th position with only six points from 13 games. They are the only side left in La Liga yet to win a game, and it looks like Getafe will actually jump over them in the coming weeks rather than Levante get out of trouble. Both Levante and Getafe are five points between Elche in 18th, and although there is a lot of teams close together between 13 and 11 points, it’s hard to see Levante and Getafe actually bridging that gap. Of course, things are all change with a few wins, but it’s hard to see where those wins come from. Sometimes the International break can help sides in Levante’s position – they are reset and go again – if they suffer a heavy defeat in this one it’s highly likely morale will go down and their season is close to finished – even this early in the season. Levante will say they have performed better than their results show, and that is true, but it’s been 13 games now – they need to start collecting points.

Athletic Bilbao did Levante no favours prior to the International break. They suffered a shock 1-0 loss at home to Cadiz who only had nine points before that fixture. That shot Cadiz up the table and away from the bottom two who would have been targeting Cadiz. That loss came from nowhere because Bilbao went into that game on an unbeaten run, and had played very well in their four games prior to that. They drew 1-1 with Real Sociedad and created an xG of 3.77 away to Espanyol but had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Despite that surprising loss, I still feel Bilbao are worth backing here. Levante have just conceded too many goals this season and I don’t see why Bilbao should be odds against here – the 2.32 is too big and can’t be ignored.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Athletic Bilbao to beat Levante at 2.32 with BETDAQ Exchange.
