FRIDAY NIGHT IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s Bundesliga and Ligue One games between HOFFENHEIM V HERTHA BERLIN and PSG V LILLE both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

HOFFENHEIM V HERTHA BERLIN

7.30pm After a busy week of La Liga action, we have Friday night football on BETDAQ Betting Exchange from the Bundesliga and Ligue 1! It’s been a fantastic run of European football over the past few weeks, and hopefully we have another excellent weekend ahead. We kick off Friday night in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim hosting Hertha Berlin. The home side are odds on favourites as they trade 1.76 at the time of writing, however they are one point behind Hertha Berlin in the table after both sides have played nine games. I’m expecting a closer game than the odds suggest here, although I fully respect the fact that Hoffenheim have been playing better football than their results suggest this season.

Nevertheless, I wouldn’t have Hoffenheim as short as 1.76 here. Hertha Berlin arrive into this fixture having won their last three games in all comeptitions and they were very impressive against Gladbach and Eintracht Frankfurt in their last two Bundesliga games. I know those two sides aren’t having the best of seasons and they are actually below these two in the table, but they are two good clubs and Hertha Berlin created xG figures of 1.63 and 2.49. They were unlucky to lose a tight game against Freiburg prior to those games, and they’ll give a good account of themselves here. Hoffenheim bounced back in the German Cup midweek after a 4-0 loss to Bayern Munich last weekend, as I said above they have been playing good football in general this season but I just can’t have them as short as 1.76. Hertha look very solid this season, and I expect this to be a lot closer than the odds suggest – Hoffenheim look a value lay.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Hoffenheim to beat Hertha Berlin at 1.76 with BETDAQ Exchange.

PSG V LILLE

8pm With no La Liga action tonight, we focus on Ligue 1 at 8pm with PSG hosting Lille. PSG dropped points last weekend with a 0-0 draw away to Marseille. How the game finished 0-0 is anyone’s guess because it was a very open game with plenty of good chances. I don’t feel PSG will be worried – they still sit top of the table by seven points. Perhaps their main worry at the moment is keeping their manager with Manchester United hinting that he is their target man. Would you leave Messi and the French League for Ronaldo and the Premier League? I’m sure it will be a very tough decision, but there’s no getting away from the fact that Manchester United and the Premier League offers a lot more glory than winning the French League with PSG every year. That being said, if he could manage to win a Champions League here he would be a hero and he has an unlimited budget.

PSG have had some very open games since returning from the International break. They have created xG’s of 2.17, 3.03 and 2.06 while conceding xG’s of 1.22, 2.36 and 1.5. That’s in all competitions, with the Champions League included. Lille tend to try and keep games tight, with their last four having under 2.5 goals. It’s hard to believe they are sitting in mid-table in Ligue 1 after lifting the title last season. What a dramatic drop it’s been; however it’s also fair to say that winning the title last season was a massive shock too. Given their drop in form this season, they should be no danger to PSG here but the home side are priced very fairly at 1.38. I much prefer Both Teams To Score at 1.86. I know Lille have been very up-and-down with creating chances, but PSG have been giving away a host of chances and playing an open game – probably safe in the knowledge they will out score most teams but BTTS looks good value here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams To Score at 1.86 with BETDAQ Exchange.
