LA LIGA MONDAY: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s La Liga games between VILLARREAL v LEVANTE and CADIZ v SEVILLA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

VILLARREAL V LEVANTE

6pm Monday night football in Europe comes from La Liga and we have two fascinating games on BETDAQ Betting Exchange!. We start early with Villarreal hosting Levante, as the chances of Levante staying in La Liga slip away further and further each passing week. They will be the one club really hoping for a “New Year, New Me” transformation! At the moment they sit nailed to the bottom, and there’s such a big gap between themselves and even 19th position it’s close to impossible to see them staying up at this point. Even if they closed down that gap, to actually go past is extremely difficult because they will bump into the big clubs and that will stop their momentum. However, Getafe won’t agree with me there, after getting out of the bottom three before Christmas they started 2022 with beating Real Madrid on Sunday afternoon! Given Levante have been so average this season, this should be a smooth home win for Villarreal and the 1.38 on the home side looks about right.

Villarreal haven’t been at their best this season though, and Levante fans will hold some hope for this fixture. After winning the Europa League and making into the Champions League this season, it looks like they will miss out on European football altogether next season. They currently sit in mid-table and they just haven’t been good enough this season. They went into Christmas in their best form of the season though, and they will be hoping to continue that in 2022. They scored five against Alaves, three against Real Sociedad and that put four wins together with Rayo Vallecano and Atalanta. They also played very well away to Sevilla at the start of December, they lost 1-0 but created an xG of 1.90 so the signs are there that the tables are turning. Levante have been conceding so many goals recently, I feel it’s worth taking Villarreal on the handicap here. The 2.03 -1.5 goals is worth a reasonably small investment – I wouldn’t be a huge fan of Villarreal but this seems an ideal time to back them looking at their performance level.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Villarreal -1.5 goals to beat Levante at 2.03 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange!

CADIZ V SEVILLA

8.15pm Next we have fascinating fixture as Cadiz host Sevilla. Like Levante who play earlier, Cadiz are sitting in the bottom three but they are in a totally different position. They have a realistic chance to staying up and they are locked in a ding-dong battle. A win for Cadiz and losses for Elche and Alaves who sit them jump into 17th and out of the bottom three. They won’t have enjoyed seeing Getafe beat Real Madrid on Sunday though, as they creates a bit of distance and was definitely a massive bonus win for Getafe. It seems it will be a bottom four now, so the pressure is really on Cadiz. For Sevilla, this has become a massive game since Real Madrid lost yesterday. At the moment, they are the biggest challenger in the title race. They have played two less games than Real and they are eight points behind – this is a must win game. They would have been happy with four points from their last two games before Christmas against Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. They might not have enjoyed their performances, but they got the results. They have to build on that now, and they can really challenge for the title. They will most likely come up short, but the door has been slightly opened by Real with that Getafe loss.

Cadiz also managed to take points off Real Madrid in their last game. They managed a 0-0 draw away from home, but they were hammered in the game. They conceded an xG of 3.47 and created 0.23! They were exceptionally lucky to draw 0-0, and in general they have just been conceding too many chances this season. I have to say, I was surprised to see Sevilla trading as big as 1.99 when I clicked into the market. Cadiz have been very poor this season, which was a little surprising given how good they were in their first season in La Liga – there are levels between both clubs here though and I would have Sevilla a lot shorter than 1.99. They aren’t quite a Max Bet, but they are a very confident one. They should easily outclass this Cadiz side.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Sevilla to beat Cadiz at 1.99 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange!
