8pm We only have one game to enjoy in Europe on Monday night as Real Betis take on Granada in La Liga. This should be a pretty close game as there isn’t much between the sides in the table, although it is more important for Real Betis. Granada find themselves six points behind Real Betis and pretty much out of the European spots argument. Real Betis are very much in that argument for the Europa League spots with Real Sociedad and Villarreal.

Real Sociedad already recorded their win this weekend on Friday night, and that means Real Betis will start this fixture five points behind them. Perhaps they will have to target Villarreal who have a Europa League Final to look forward to and might take their eye off the ball in La Liga – although I can’t see that given the situation in the table. We should have a fascinating market on BETDAQ Betting Exchange between these too and hopefully it’s a good game.

Real Betis have given away their strong position with six draws in a row, and there hasn’t been many goals in their recent games. Granada managed a shock win over Barcelona recently which obviously had a big impact on the battle at the top of the table, but then they went and lost to Cadiz after that. They have been up and down with wins and losses, and Real Betis are too short here at 1.82 in my view.

I’m happy to keep stakes reasonably low as Granada are a tough side to predict as I said above, but Real Betis just aren’t in form at the moment. I respect the fact that the poor version of Granada can turn up, but I’m still happy to lay the 1.82 on Real Betis. Their xG figures have been poor recently – although they did play well against Real Valladolid but then again they are towards the bottom of the table and Betis still couldn’t beat them – so the value bet is the Betis lay for me.
