SALERNITANA V TORINO

5.30pm It’s the start of a massive week of football from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! The Champions League returns on Tuesday and Wednesday, while the Europa League is back on Thursday. We might not have the most glamorous start to the week with action from Serie A and La Liga, but we do have some interesting prices to look at in the markets. Truth be told we have two very average fixtures to start the week, but finding two winners would still pay the same as the Champions League later in the week! We start the action in Serie A as Salernitana host Torino. When I looked at the Serie A table before this weekend I saw these two have started basically in line with where you expect them to finish. Torino sat in 11th with four points while Salernitana sat in 16th with only two draws from their three games. Salernitana were pretty average last season but they were always far enough away points wise from the relegation battle – they managed to draw with Roma and Udinese so they are obviously playing OK football.

Torino are a better side but they are basically your classic mid-table Serie A side. They are better than the likes of Salernitana but massively struggle when coming up against the big boys. Their 4-1 loss to AC Milan this season already an example of that. They come into this game as the favourites – they are trading 2.26 with Salernitana 3.75 and the draw is 3.3 at the time of writing. Both sides haven’t created much this season – Salernitana have an average xG of 0.94 while Torino have an average of 1.0. Both of them have actually conceded more chances than they have created. They’ve only met six times before, with four of those meetings coming recently. Last season we saw two 1-1 between them, and I have to say the draw makes a lot of appeal here at 3.3. With Torino being away from home that brings the sides a lot closer together on paper. Another option is Under 2.5 goals at 1.69 with both of them limited up front, but I prefer the draw bet at 3.3.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.3 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

GRANADA V GIRONA

8pm Next we move over to La Liga to finish the evening as Granada host Girona. We have an open betting heat here with not much ticks between the sides. Girona are the current favourites at 2.62 with Granada trading 2.92 and the draw is 3.45. Much like the above game, this should be a very close affair. Girona are living the dream at the moment though – they started this matchday sitting in second place just behind Real Madrid; they must be getting a nosebleed! They started the season with a hard fought 1-1 away to Real Sociedad and also managed to beat Sevilla 2-1 away from home, so it’s not like they have had a very easy fixture list. They beat Getafe and Las Palmas at home; probably two sides that will be involved in the relegation battle at some stage. Granada might be another side that get involved in the relegation battle after coming up from the Segunda last season. They comfortably topped the table by three points but they lost 11 times throughout the season and I’d expect them to struggle this season. They have managed one win from their four games but they’ve conceded a lot of goals.

If you look at the under-lining numbers, Girona have been exceptionally lucky to sit where they are in the table. Their performance stats would actually put them in the bottom three which is hard to believe – their average xG created has only been 0.83 which is was the third lowest before this matchday. Granada haven’t exactly been setting the world alight, but they have created more. The issue is they have conceded a huge amount – their average xG conceded was the second highest just 0.01 behind Getafe. It’s easy to understand why we have such an open market here because both sides clearly have their issues, they aren’t sides that you can trust either. I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market here because I like Over 2.5 goals at 2.04. I’d have this odds on considering how many sloppy goals these two concede and I’d expect to see plenty of mistakes at the back. I’m keeping stakes low because they have hardly been creating chances for fun, but we should see goals here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 2.04 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
