MONDAY IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s games between ROMA v SPEZIA and CADIZ v GRANADA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ROMA V SPEZIA

7.45pm After a fantastic weekend around Europe, we have two fascinating matches to follow on BETDAQ Betting Exchange on Monday night from Serie A and La Liga. We start the evening in Serie A with Jose Mourinho’s Roma hosting Spezia. It has been very interesting to follow the trials and tribulations of Roma this season with Jose in charge. They started the season on fire and looked like they could challenge for a top four finish, but their level has dropped in recent weeks and now they aren’t even in the top six. Jose has been arguing with the media in recent days saying their job is easier than his, and it just feels like we’ve seen this all before. Usually he starts on fire and has the dressing room fully behind him and he loses it over time. I’m interested to see how long he hangs onto the dressing room now he is fighting with the media. I felt at the start of the season he could do a good job here with a little less expectations but to be honest the expectations are always high whenever he goes.

With Spezia in a relegation fight this season, this is clearly a must win game for Roma. Anything less than three points here would be unacceptable, and likely see some huge media pressure on Jose again. Spezia have been very average this season – the xG table actually puts them into the bottom three and they have been conceding a host of chances this season. Spezia have issues all over the pitch – they regularly concede an xG of over 2.0 and then create very little. Even in their most recent win at home to Torino, the xG figures finished 0.34 to 0.52 in a game with nothing in it. Although Roma have come up short against the top sides this season, they do create a lot of chances and that’s what will win the game here. Spezia will give Roma a lot of chances, and they aren’t good enough to give Roma issues at the back. This should be an easy home win, and Roma can cover the handicap. The 2.18 -1.5 goals looks cracking value.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Roma -1.5 goals to beat Spezia at 2.18 with BETDAQ Exchange.

CADIZ V GRANADA

8pm Next we move to La Liga to finish the evening and we have a huge game here towards the bottom of the table. Cadiz host Granada in a real relegation six pointer! Cadiz made a great start to life in La Liga last season, but they have gone backwards this season and they are going to find it difficult to stay up. It’s a shame because they were a breath of fresh air last season – they managed to beat Real Madrid and Barcelona! However, the second season is proving a lot tougher and their performances just haven’t been good enough. Granada are a few places away from the bottom three, but that is down to luck rather than performance level. The xG table puts Granada rock bottom and their performances have been very poor. To their credit, they are getting results. They managed to grind out a 2-1 win over Alaves last weekend in another massive game towards the bottom of the table, and they didn’t fully deserve that win either! They conceded a bigger xG than they created, but as I said, they do manage to get results which shows fight in them.

Cadiz have managed a 0-0 draw with Barcelona here, in a game they should have won to be honest, creating an xG of over double the Barcelona one. However, overall their home performances have really let them down this season. They were hammered 4-1 by Atletico Madrid in their last home game, but they only created an xG of 0.14 against Valencia and 0.64 against Real Sociedad – those figures at home just aren’t good enough. Obviously there is a drop in the level of the opposition here, but I’m not sure Cadiz deserve to be as short as 2.6. Granada have been so poor this season, it’s hard to commit to backing them at 3.15 but I would actually rather them over Cadiz. That being said, the draw jumps off the page here at 3.15. This will be a very close game between two poor sides – chances should be few and far between.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.15 with BETDAQ Exchange.
