FREIBURG V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

2.30pm There aren’t many Saturdays left from Europe for the 2024/25 season on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We’re at the stage of the season now when leagues have the same kick off time for each game – we have some massive games and some meaningless games – as always there’s plenty of drama! We finish the Bundesliga this Saturday, and we also have one game from Serie A too. We start the day in the Bundesliga and while the Champions and relegation spots are already confirmed, we have a massive clash in the race for a Champions League finish between Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt. They come into the final day of the season sitting in third and fourth, but they have Dortmund just behind them after they have finished the season very strongly. Frankfurt have a three point advantage and Freiburg have a one point advantage – given Dortmund play Holstein Kiel and have home advantage, it’s safe to assume they will win so we could easily see one of these drop out of those Champions League spots, which would obviously be a massive blow on the final day of the season. Dortmund are trading as short as 1.11 to win, they could easily increase their goal difference over Frankfurt too!

So, the stakes couldn’t be higher here. We have a reasonably open betting heat as you would expect – Freiburg are favourites at 2.44 with Eintracht Frankfurt 2.96 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing. Although anyone dropping out of the top four on the final day is a massive blow, both of these sides have been hugely over-performing this season. Freiburg are in the bottom six on attacking figures with an average xG created of 1.38. While Frankfurt are in the bottom six on defensive figures with an average xG conceded of 1.60. Frankfurt have been massively getting away with things at the back, but I still wouldn’t be rushing to back the home side here given they have struggled to create good quality chances. We should have a very interesting game here – it’s highly likely that a draw won’t be good enough for Freiburg so they will be throwing men forward towards the end of the game. We should have a very open game here; both sides concede plenty of chances and obviously given the situation they have to go for it. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.56 and that looks a confident bet to start the day!

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.56 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

GENOA V ATALANTA

7.45pm We move over to Serie A to finish Saturday from Europe as Genoa host Atalanta. This is the only Serie A fixture to take place on Saturday with some huge games all kicking off together on Sunday. Basically, Serie A can move this fixture into a TV slot because it won’t have an impact on any other games – Atalanta have confirmed their spot in third as they cannot catch Inter Milan and Juventus can’t catch them. They can celebrate the fact they have Champions League football this season but I doubt Atalanta will be happy with that – they were in the title race for a large part of the season but finished poorly. Genoa sit in mid-table – they cannot do worse than 13th but they could possibly move up a few spots. Essentially this is a meaningless fixture, which is the only reason it was moved really. Neither side has any reason to sit back, so hopefully we get an entertaining game with plenty of goals. It’s not a surprise to see Atalanta come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.76 with Genoa 5.2 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing.

It’s always very difficult to judge the motivation levels for sides towards the end of the season with nothing to play for. We saw viral videos of Liverpool away midweek – players in Dubai and Arne Slot in Ibiza – neither of these sides are celebrating a trophy win but they could easily be “on the beach early” as they say. Nevertheless, Atalanta still have the best attacking figure in Serie A this season, and they’ve also been conceding less than a goal a game on average. They will be kicking themselves they aren’t in the title race for the run-in. They’ve turned things around now, but three losses in a row from mid-March really hurt them. Genoa have really struggled to score goals and create chances this season – they have the fourth worst attacking figure and they have scored less than a goal a game on average. It’s shrewd to keep stakes low given the situation, but the 1.76 on Atalanta looks a couple of ticks too big given the gulf in class between the sides.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Atalanta to beat Genoa at 1.76 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
