SATURDAY LA LIGA: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s games between OSASUNA v ATLETICO MADRID, CADIZ v GETAFE and REAL MADRID v ALAVES all previewed with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

OSASUNA V ATLETICO MADRID

3.15pm All eyes are all La Liga this Saturday with all football bets 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We have three massive games today, and we kick the day off with Osasuna hosting Atletico Madrid. Unfortunately for Atletico Madrid fans they had to suffer more disappointment during the week with a 1-0 loss at home to Levante. They really have had some horrible results this season – yet again they finished the game with a bigger xG figure and ended up losing. Although they haven’t played as badly as their results, they simply have to start taking their chances. They now start this weekend still sitting outside the top four, and now Barcelona have the same amount of points as well as a game in game. The xG table puts them remarkably at the top of the table and they are going to miss out on Champions League football. I can’t see Barcelona falling out of the top four even allowing for their issues this season, so Atletico have to close the four point gap on Real Betis. That aim has to start with a win here – they simply can’t afford anymore unlucky results.

The good news for Atletico fans is they are clearly playing decent football. They just need to take their chances but from a betting point of view, you have to think twice before investing on them. While Osasuna are your average mid-table La Liga side, they have been playing well lately. They were very good away to Rayo Vallecano last weekend, and their recent wins against Granada and Cadiz were good too. Obviously Atletico are a massive set up on those fixtures, but they did keep Sevilla to a 0-0 here recently. It’s no surprise to see Atletico trading odds against given their poor results this season, but like I said they aren’t playing badly. Eventually they have to have the results go their way, and I’m happy to take a chance on them at 2.16 to start the day. Obviously it’s a good tactic to limit stakes because of their recent run, but like I said they are playing good football – all they have to do is take their chances!

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Atletico Madrid to beat Osasuna at 2.16 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

CADIZ V GETAFE

5.30pm Next we have a massive game at the bottom of La Liga as Cadiz host Getafe. These games are always hyped up to the max, but I don’t think it’s an overly dramatic statement to say that this is a must win game for Cadiz. They have home advantage and are playing a side within the bottom five. The problem for Cadiz is they have been terrible at home this season – that’s the main reason why they are in the relegation zone – they have only managed seven points from their 12 home games this season and they are nailed to the bottom of the home form table. They have actually been much better away from home this season, and it’s fair to say that a loss here for Cadiz would make life very difficult. Although the bottom three all managed results in their last games there is still a little gap forming. Granada have slipped down a lot with four losses in a row, but they still have a four point advantage on the bottom three. With Getafe starting the game six points ahead of Cadiz and five ahead of Alaves they have a little bit of a cushion. A win here would likely see them safe this season – so it’s a big game for everyone!

Getafe have put together a decent run of result recently, however they have been a little lucky along the way. They managed a 1-0 win over Real Madrid and although it was a very even game, you can’t knock Getafe for getting Real Madrid down to an xG of 0.89. They were involved in a seven goal thriller last weekend with Atletico Madrid and they have been scoring more goals recently. They netted four against Granada, three against Levante and then three in a losing cause against Atletico Madrid. Given the home form of Cadiz this season, you have to view this has a great chance for Getafe to win and get fully away from that bottom three. Cadiz tend to create very little at home, and although Getafe make appeal at 2.66 I do feel over 2.5 goals is the best option here at 3.0. I was very surprised to see those odds when I clicked into the market given how many goals Getafe have scored recently. These games can often be cagey, but these two might gel together and we can see an open game. Overs definitely looks the value at 3.0.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 3.0 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

REAL MADRID V ALAVES

8pm We stay in La Liga to finish a cracking Saturday as Real Madrid host Alaves. It hasn’t been a good week for Real Madrid with a 1-0 loss to PSG in the Champions League and dropping further points against Villarreal last weekend. They were outplayed by PSG midweek, but they did have very negative tactics and held on until the last moment. Perhaps that highlights there’s no reason for away sides to attack much given there’s no away goal rule anymore. A draw away from home is a fantastic result, especially in a big game like that – even with a 1-0 loss, there’s still plenty of options for the home side in the second leg. Although they went into that game with a 0-0 draw against Villarreal, they were unlucky in that game because they created an xG of 2.30 and Villarreal have been playing their best football of the season recently. Real have dropped a few points lately, but they have been unlucky – they had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Elche but finished with an xG of 5.24 in a game they bossed.

Alaves will have one eye on the Cadiz v Getafe game given they are in the bottom three, but I’m sure they will view this game as a shot to nothing. They can’t be expected to get a result here, and the market is expecting a comfortable home win with Real trading 1.23 at the time of writing. Despite the negative performance in the Champions League midweek, those were the Real tactics and in La Liga they have been playing very well. I think you’ll see a different Real in the second leg anyway. Given all the chances they have been creating lately, the 1.67 on Real to cover the 1.5 goal handicap makes a lot of appeal. Alaves have been very poor away from home this season, and have one of the worst records away in La Liga. This should be a smooth win for Real, and they can cover the 1.5 goal handicap.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Real Madrid -1.5 goals to beat Alaves at 1.67 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
