BUNDESLIGA / LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s games between REAL MADRID v VALENCIA, WOLFSBURG v GLADBACH and VILLARREAL v REAL BETIS all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

REAL MADRID V VALENCIA

3.15pm A fantastic Sunday in Europe! I like three games in La Liga and the Bundesliga, and we start with Real Madrid hosting Valencia. Real will be hoping for revenge over Valencia who dished out a 4-1 beating to them earlier in the season – that really signalled they were having problems and they ended up well off the pace in La Liga. It looks like their league title is gone to Atletico now, but they have to keep fighting and try to put some pressure on even though the gap is so big. They should win here as Valencia have been very poor this season; that 4-1 win over Real came from absolutely nowhere at the time and has been their highlight of the season.

Valencia started the weekend in 12th, but because it’s so tight in the bottom half they were only four points ahead of the team in 18th. They should have enough class to stay up this season, but they haven’t performed as they would have hoped. They did a huge clean out in the summer, and maybe a mid-table finish is a good result for them so they can move on and bring in more players in the summer. I know Real have been unreliable this season, but I can’t look past the 1.46 on them here. I just can’t find any better value in the side markets so it seems silly to look past the obvious. Valencia are a poor side who concede too many chances and Real should get the job done here.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Real Madrid to beat Valencia at 1.46 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

WOLFSBURG V GLADBACH

5pm Next we move over to the Bundesliga for a cracker. Wolfsburg host Gladbach in what should be a high quality game. Wolfsburg have an excellent chance of finishing second this season – their only competition seems to be RB Leipzig although Eintracht Frankfurt are having a good season too. Leverkusen and Dortmund have fallen behind the pace, but Gladbach won’t be a push over here as they have an excellent chance to get into the top four too. There’s a lot of teams in the mix between third and seventh, and this is a big game for both sides. Gladbach would have been disappointing to lose to Koln last weekend, but they didn’t create much going forward and that’s becoming a worry.

Wolfsburg come into this game with five straight wins in all competitions and they have been playing some nice football. They had a massive win against Bayer Leverkusen recently which was a big boost for them; although xG said it should have been a draw and prior to that they managed, again a lucky, draw with RB Leipzig. They have been putting the smaller sides to the sword and hanging in there with the top sides. Gladbach might have put four past Dortmund in late January, however they have had a lot of xG’s under 1 recently. We have a very open market on BETDAQ Betting Exchange and I feel Wolfsburg are the value at 2.62. They will create more than Gladbach and although I expect a close and competitive game, it’s Wolfsburg at the odds for me as they have a lot more in their favour.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Wolfsburg to beat Gladbach at 2.62 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

VILLARREAL V REAL BETIS

8pm We’re back in La Liga to end the day as Villarreal host Real Betis. Unai Emery had Villarreal playing some very nice football this season. Unlike at this old club Arsenal, they have been extremely tough to beat but their problem has been too many draws. They have only lost twice all season, but they have also had 12 draws in 22 games. The top four have put a bit of distance between themselves and Villarreal now, but it’s not too late to bridge the gap and they also have that Europa League spot to claim. Betis are only six points behind them, so this is a massive game for them to try and get into the mix; a loss would put too much space between them.

I’ve previewed a few games involving Huesca who sit at the bottom of the table, however they are the only side to have close to the amount of draws Villarreal have had. And as I say about them, despite them being bottom – if you were backing against them you wouldn’t have a winning P&L with all those draws. The same can be said in regards to backing Villarreal in my opinion, especially when they are trading at prices like 2.04. Betis lost 3-2 to Barcelona last weekend but they played very well – they actually ended the game with a higher xG and prior to that they had put some nice wins together. I feel they can get a result here, and Villarreal are worth laying at 2.04.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Villarreal to beat Real Betis at 2.04 with BETDAQ Exchange.
