LA LIGA/LIGUE 1 SUNDAY: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s games between REAL SOCIEDAD v SEVILLA, PSG v LYON and VALENCIA v REAL MADRID all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

REAL SOCIEDAD V SEVILLA

3.15pm We have some top class action in Europe on Sunday and we have three excellent matches to preview on BETDAQ Betting Exchange from La Liga and Ligue 1. We have a very open market to start the afternoon as Real Sociedad host Sevilla. These two finished fourth and fifth last season, and although they were beside each other in the league table there was 15 points between them by the end of the season. It’s hard to see how Real Sociedad can close that gap and break into the top four, but they can start by winning here! After losing their opening game of the season away to Barcelona, they have bounced back with three wins. They played out a very close 1-0 win over Levante here, but other than that they put in two impressive performances against Rayo Vallecano and Cadiz but we must factor in the quality of opposition. They came up well short against Barcelona, and Sevilla are a top side.

Sevilla would have been very disappointed to draw their last two games against Elche and Salzburg. They should have beaten Elche as they finished the game with an xG of 2.19 but it is eye-catching to see they conceded an xG of 2.72 against Salzburg in the Champions League on Tuesday. Perhaps we can put that down to the fact that they went so long without a game in La Liga – they played Elche on the 28th of August and then didn’t play again until Tuesday because their game against Barcelona last weekend was pushed back. Of course, it’s all about the odds here and I have to lay Real Sociedad at 2.58. I expected an open market, but I didn’t expect to see such a big difference in prices between the two sides. I would have Sevilla marginal favourites, and Sociedad are a confident lay.

The Ultra Says:
Four points lay (liability) Real Sociedad to beat Sevilla at 2.58 with BETDAQ Exchange.

PSG V LYON

7.45pm Next we move to Ligue 1 and hope to keep our winning streak on PSG games going! We’re going for five in a row here, and hopefully we can land it. I have to say the jury is definitely out on PSG after their performance in the Champions League midweek. They started Messi along with their best players and only managed a 1-1 draw with Club Brugge. It wasn’t even a good performance either – if they had drawn 1-1 and created an xG of 2.5+ then all would be forgiven and move on, but they finished the game with an xG 1.51 and conceded 1.46. A draw was a very fair result. They are levels above their domestic opposition so the Champions League will always be the acid test – they will need to bounce back with an impressive performance in that competition in a couple of weeks’ time.

Onto this game, and they should really be beating this Lyon side. UK football fans would have got a good look at Lyon on Thursday as they played Rangers in the Europa League, however Lyon have won their last two Ligue 1 games but their underlining numbers don’t look impressive. They conceded an xG of 2.2 against Strasbourg last weekend and they have yet to keep a side to an xG of under 1 this season. That obviously spells a lot of trouble when you face a side like PSG who are scoring goals for fun domestically. They have scored 14 goals in their last four games! I feel PSG will cover the handicap again here and the 1.98 -1.5 goals looks massive to me – Lyon simply give away too many chances, and PSG need to bounce back from that disappointing result in the Champions League so they will be aiming to put on a show here.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win PSG -1.5 goals to beat Lyon at 1.98 with BETDAQ Exchange.

VALENCIA V REAL MADRID

8pm We finish a brilliant Sunday back in La Liga as Valencia host Real Madrid. At the start of the weekend, these two sat in first and second in La Liga and we should have an entertaining game here. I have to say I’m delighted to see Valencia doing well after what they went through last season. They made the brave decision to do a summer clear out and while they never looked like getting relegated last season, they were down towards the bottom fighting it out. They’ll definitely drop off the pace dramatically soon, but the fans can dream for the time being! Their xG figures haven’t been bad, and you wouldn’t say that they don’t deserve their ten points after four games. Real Madrid also have ten points after four games, but they are playing much better football compared to Valencia, and I have to say the 1.94 looks massive on a Real win.

When you look through the xG figures, there is only one winner here. Valencia are playing solid football – the type of football that will get results against other average sides, but they should come up well short of this Real Madrid side. Real managed another win over Inter midweek in the Champions League – they conceded a high xG figures but they grinded out a win in the end. Their attacking figures in La Liga are incredible – they have created xG’s of 2.44, 2.16, 1.18 and 3.58 so far this season. Valencia will aim to keep this game tight, but I’m not sure they can stop this Real Madrid side. I expected to see Real trading close to 1.8, so the 1.94 has to be a Max Bet for me. We have done really well with the Max Bets recently and hopefully we can add another winner to the list.

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Real Madrid to beat Valencia at 1.94 with BETDAQ Exchange.
