LA LIGA / SERIE A: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s games between BARCELONA v LEVANTE, LAZIO v ROMA and RTEAL BETIS v GETAFE all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BARCELONA V LEVANTE

3.15pm We’re all set for a fascinating Sunday in Europe! It’s going to be a very interesting day on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We start in La Liga with Barcelona hosting Levante. Barcelona fans have suffered a lot already this season with Messi leaving and all the money issues going on at the club, but it looks like they are going to keep suffering all season watching their team on the pitch. As I said on Saturday, we all knew they would have a tough season ahead but it looks like the decline is coming quicker than I thought. After another disappointing draw midweek, they have now drawn three of their five games and they’re already well off the pace at the top of the table. I think the most worrying thing about the 0-0 draw against Cadiz midweek was that Cadiz created a bigger xG and deserved to win the game. You’d expect Barcelona to win this fixture, but Levante will fancy having a go now.

That statement is going to be a big issue for Barcelona this season – without Messi they have lost their fear factor and sides will believe they can get a result. Like when Sir Alex Ferguson left Manchester United after all those years. I can see Barcelona dropping a lot of points this season against teams they usually wouldn’t. I backed Barcelona midweek as I felt they looked good value, but I think I’ll have to be a more careful when I back them from now on – they will be bigger in the markets, but they are a different side now. Even here the 1.46 at home to a side in the bottom five is so tempting, but you can’t rely on them now. Apart from their 3-3 draw with Real Madrid, Levante usually like to keep games very tight and with Barcelona struggling so much to create chances, under 2.5 goals is worth backing here at 2.63.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 2.63 with BETDAQ Exchange.

LAZIO V ROMA

5pm Next we move to Serie A for a fascinating match! We also have a fascinating market here too and I’m sure we’ll have some very big and different opinions on the odds. We have a very open market here and this should be a very close game. It’s fair to say Jose Mourinho has brought new life to Roma – he’s been charging down the side lines when they score in the last minute to celebrate with the players. I think he could actually achieve something here and the set-up suits him – he’s not under too much pressure to win given Roma aren’t a top side in Italy at the moment, and he has less hassle from the UK media when he was at Spurs who are at a very similar level in the sense they aren’t expected to win a trophy. He could really build a good mentality here, but of course we all know it will go wrong at some stage – it always does with Jose!

Nevertheless, it’s always interesting with Jose! After everyone had played five games, he had them in the top four which would be a massive achievement if he could stay there. He seems to have built a good team spirit, and I fancy he gets a result here. Not only have they been winning games, but their xG figures are good too. Lazio have started the season a little slowly, and they have been giving away more chances than they are creating. I can understand why the prices are so close together as it’s hard to see anything but a close game, but Roma will shade it for me. They are playing the better football and creating more chances. They should be a little shorter than 2.64.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Roma to beat Lazio at 2.64 with BETDAQ Exchange.

REAL BETIS V GETAFE

8pm We move to back La Liga to finish the day with Real Betis taking on Getafe. Betis look great value here at 1.83 to beat a Getafe side who have lost all six of their opening games this season. I must say that Getafe have had a tough fixture list – they have had to play Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla already but their xG figures are pretty worrying. They conceded 2.10 to Rayo Vallecano for example and only managed to create 0.41 at home to Elche who are a poor side and will be in the relegation battle this season. Betsi have started their season in good form too and sat nicely in the top half of the table before the weekend fixtures kicked off. They are your average mid-table La Liga side, but with home advantage here they should outclass Getafe.

Since losing 1-0 to Real Madrid, Betis have created xG figures of 2.57 against Granada, 2.55 against Celtic in the Europa League, 2.46 against Espanyol and then 1.91 against Osasuna last weekend. Those are solid and consistent figures – they are creating enough chances to win games and when you considering Getafe have been conceding a lot and creating very little, I can see this game being one way traffic. I was very surprised to click into the market and see Betis as big as 1.83 – I thought they would be closer to 1.6 and they have to be a Max Bet for me at the odds!

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Real Betis to beat Getafe at 1.83 with BETDAQ Exchange.
