WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s World Cup Qualifiers between BELARUS V WALES, ENGLAND V ANDORRA and SWITZERLAND V ITALY all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BELARUS V WALES

2pm We have another excellent day at the World Cup Qualifiers! We start reasonably early on BETDAQ Betting Exchange with Belarus “hosting” Wales. There’s been a bit of drama off the pitch before this game, as UEFA have the game in Russia at Central Stadium in Kazan. Wales have asked for an explanation as to why it was Russia, but none was given – I’m sure that drama will be rumble on. This is actually a massive game for both sides. Belgium and Czech Republic top Group E at the moment with ten points and seven points – however they have played four games each. Wales and Belarus both sit on three points each, but Wales have only played two games and Belarus three. I don’t think it’s up for debate that Belgium will top the Group, but Wales certainly have a fantastic chance to go past Czech Republic with a win over Belarus here and then Estonia next week.

Make no mistake, this will be a “tricky” tie for Wales – they have to travel a good distance etc etc, however they should really be beating Belarus. Belgium beat them 8-0, and although they scored four against Estonia, they also conceded two. After topping their Group in the Nations League, Wales will play their football in Group A next time around. Compare that to Belarus who play their football in Group C and failed to top a Group with Albania, Lithuania and Kazakhstan in it. There’s a huge gulf in class here between the sides, and even accounting that Wales will have a tough time with the crowd and travel, they should get the job done. That’s what international football is all about, outclassing sides like Belarus away from home – the 1.65 is worth backing to start the day.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Wales to beat Belarus at 1.65 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ENGLAND V ANDORRA

5pm Next we move to Group I where England took control on Thursday night. I mentioned a “tricky” away tie for Wales above, well Hungary away is a classic example. England should be outclassing sides like that, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have a difficult night with the crowd. I thought the players handled the situation very well, and it was a very good performance – slow to start in the first half, but they totally outclassed them in the second half – some of the photos were incredible of the England players and the angry Hungary fans were incredible! After that tricky away tie, England have a simple task here. They are trading 1.01 before kicking a ball, and this is a case of “how many goals will England score” rather than will they win.

I’m sure Gareth Southgate will take the opportunity to play some fringe players here as this is an excellent chance to give them some experience. Andorra are a very poor side, but they did manage to beat San Marino in this Group already so they aren’t on zero points at least! Hungary shipped four goals past them away from home, and given England beat Hungary 4-0 away from home – that’s probably a good guide of the gulf in class between the sides here. It’s very hard to see England not scoring at least four goals, and it’s no wonder Any Other Home Win is odds on in the Correct Score market. This is a game for small stakes given the prices, and I can see England running riot here. Over 5.5 goals is my selection at 2.05.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Over 5.5 goals at 2.05 with BETDAQ Exchange.

SWITZERLAND V ITALY

7.45pm We move over to Group C to finish the day with a top of the table clash. I’m sure Northern Ireland will be keeping an eye on this fixture after beating Lithuania 4-1 on Thursday, and they will be cheering for an Italian win. That might be in vein however, as Switzerland have played two games and have six points – already two more than Northern Ireland who have played three. Italy have played two more games than Switzerland, but they are four points clear with ten points. The European Champions will be confident of winning here after the sides met at Euro 2020 and Italy ran out easy 3-0 winners. Home advantage will be a positive for Switzerland here, but I don’t feel it will be enough to turn the result around. Italy are trading 1.96 and I’m sure they will have a lot of fans at that price.

One slight worry, and perhaps a reason to lower stakes here is Italy were held to a draw at home by Bulgaria on Thursday. That’s a worry given they should be beating a side like Bulgaria at home, however Switzerland are more likely to play an attacking game here and that should open things up for Italy. Although the 1.96 appeals from a pre-off point of view, from a trading point of view Italy could trade bigger in-running as they tended to start slow at Euro 2020 and then finish the game strongly in the second half. It might pay to wait until half-time, but I’m still happy to take the 1.96 before the off here. Italy were much the better side against Switzerland at Euro 2020, and I expect the same here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Italy to beat Switzerland at 1.96 with BETDAQ Exchange.
