WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s games between ALBANIA V ENGLAND and ISRAEL V SCOTLAND both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ALBANIA V ENGLAND

5pm England are back in action in the World Cup Qualifiers on Sunday as they take on Albania. Although England were expected to score more than five goals against San Marino on Thursday night, they cruised through the game and as I noted in that preview – it’s tough to score a lot these days when you don’t really need to. San Marino were happy with defending and saving face. England were 1.01 to lay before kick off on BETDAQ Betting Exchange on Thursday, while they are 1.3 to win here. Albania are a very limited side, and England should really be winning here. Albania might have topped their Nations League Group, but they only had Belarus, Lithuania and Kazakhstan in it, while they were unable to qualify for Euro 2020.

England will always get a tricky time in the UK press, and while they might have to grind out a win here they just have more than enough class to ease past this Albania side. It’s hard to see Albania having different tactics to putting XI men behind the ball and hoping for a draw – so England probably won’t have a flashy performance here. This game screams a “unimpressive England win” that they will likely get criticism for! They created an xG of 4.99 on Thursday night against San Marino, showing how they took their chances to the tee and I feel they will do the same here. The under/over 2.5 goals market is very interesting, as I can’t see Albania scoring but I don’t want to back unders as this England team do create a lot of chances. I like them to cover the handicap here instead and the 1.9 -1.5 goals is worth taking. Albania are very limited and England can brush past them.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win England -1.5 goals to beat Albania at 1.9 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

ISRAEL V SCOTLAND

7.45pm How many times have we had this fixture recently!? These two must know each other inside and out by now. They met in a Euro 2020 Playoff and they have also been in the same Nations League Groups. Absolutely every game between the pair has suggested there isn’t much between the pair and it’s likely if there is to be a winner there will only be one goal in it. They’ve played each other five times since 2018 and there has never been a winner by more than one goal. The last three times the sides have met we have had under 2.5 goals, and that’s bound to appeal to a lot of punters at around 1.55. That looks well priced for me though, as you couldn’t have it much shorter.

Scotland started their World Cup Qualifying campaign with a massive draw against Austria. That was a huge result for them, as it gives them a chance to get into second. It’s likely Denmark and Austria will be the main sides in Group F and a draw against Austria could give Scotland a real chance. The reality is if they want to challenge for that spot in the table, they have to win games like this along the way. They scored a late goal at Hampden Park on Thursday, and you could imagine the place would be rocking if the fans were there! It’s those moments you miss the fans. Scotland are a tempting bet after that performance, but I’m keen to have the draw on side between these two as we have seen that pays off. I’m happy to lay Israel as I think Scotland will get a result – they look in the better place between the two teams coming into this fixture.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Israel to beat Scotland at 3.0 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
