INTER MIAMI V PORTO

8pm Matchday two at the FIFA Club World Cup begins on Wednesday and the highlight fixture is Inter Miami v Porto on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! It’s fair to say we’ve had some highs and lows during the last week as all the sides played their opening games. FIFA would have been relived to fill the stadium for the opening game after they dramatically reduced prices, but we saw a huge amount of empty seats at the Chelsea v Los Angeles game which went viral on social media in the UK. You have to say that the tournament has been a hard sell for FIFA at the moment; they’ll be hoping we get an elite knockout phase all the way to the Final!

Anyway, Group A is wide open coming into the second games after everyone draw their opening game. Inter Miami were held to a 0-0 draw against Al Ahly in the opening game of the tournament, while Porto also had to settle for a 0-0 draw against Palmeiras. Hopefully we finally see a few goals here! I know there’s a lot of hype around Inter Miami because of Messi, but you have to remember that they play their domestic football at a pretty poor level. Messi gets all the headlines, but their defence hasn’t been great this season and it’s no surprise to see Porto come into the game as the odds on favourites.

Porto are trading 1.66 with Inter Miami 5.6 and the draw is 4.5 at the time of writing. I felt this would be the fixture that would decide top spot, but after they both dropped points in the opening matchday you never know what could happen in this Group now. Porto finished third in Portugal, but it was a very competitive season with Sporting Lisbon and Benfica – especially with Ruben Amorim leaving Sporting in such good shape before moving to Manchester United – he would have had an easier life if he stayed in Portugal!

I have to say both sides under-performed in their opening game. They both finished their games with a lower xG figure. Porto actually conceded an xG of 2.0 to Palmeiras which is concerning and I wouldn’t be rushing to take the 1.66 on them here. Inter Miami had more of the ball against Al Ahly but like Porto, they finished with the lower xG figure. I know both sides finished their games with no goals, but there was enough created in both games to see Over 2.5 goals land to be honest. That’s trading 1.68 and Both Teams To Score is 1.75 too. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet, but given the volume of chances both clubs conceded in their opening games, I like Both Teams To Score here in what should be an entertaining game filled with chances at both ends of the pitch.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams To Score at 1.75 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
