LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Tuesday’s La Liga games between GRANADA v OSASUNA and ATLETICO MADRID v SEVILLA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

GRANADA V OSASUNA

6pm Another fascinating night in La Liga and while all eyes will be on Atletico Madrid v Sevilla later, we start with Granada hosting Osasuna! I quite fancy Granada to get the win here and the odds of 2.62 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange are very appealing. Osasuna have managed two draws in their last two games against Real Madrid and Real Sociedad but they sit second bottom in La Liga and have been pretty poor this season. They have had some success by simply making their games very boring – however although they are unbeaten in four they were very lucky to draw against Alaves – only created an xG of 0.39 and giving away 1.74.

I can see why there are layers for Granada given how cagey Osasuna are, especially after the deserved 0-0 draw with Real Madrid and Granada losing 4-0 to Barcelona at the weekend but I’d have the home win shorter than 2.5 here. While Osasuna like to keep games tight, Granada create enough to score – they have recorded recent xG figures of 2.54 (v Valencia), 1.49 (v Betis) and 2.0 (v Elche). The 2.62 offers enough value to take a chance on them putting away this poor Osasuna side, who seem to play for draws.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Granada to beat Osasuna at 2.62 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

ATLETICO MADRID V SEVILLA

8.30pm This is Atletico Madrid’s year. I have said it before that this season is their best chance of winning a title but it recent weeks it has been pretty much confirmed. This is their time, and they simply have to lift the title this season if they’re ever going to! Real Madrid dropped more points at the weekend and now Atletico are one point ahead with three games in hand. They also have three games in hand over Barcelona and they’re four points ahead of them. The only way they fail to lift the title is if they throw this position away – it’s in their hands. I have to say, it’s going to be fascinating to see how they deal with the pressure. They last won the title back in 2013/14 but before that you have to go back to 1995/96. Plus Real and Barcelona have changed since 2013/14 – they had glory years.

Home advantage might not mean much in these Covid19 times, but Atletico have to win these sort of games to lift the title. Sevilla haven’t been at their best this season, but they do arrive here in good form. They beat Real Sociedad at the weekend in a good performance and they are unbeaten in six. They have had some surprise results this season, and perhaps they have been giving up too many chances. Apart from the 1-0 loss to Real Madrid, Atletico have been great. On paper they may have only beaten Alaves by one goal at the weekend but they hammered them on xG. I feel they will get the job done here, and felt they should be around 2.0 rather than the current 2.2 on offer. They’re worth backing at those odds.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Atletico Madrid to beat Sevilla at 2.2 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange
