PSG V MANCHESTER CITY

8pm It’s a massive night on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE in the Champions League on Wednesday! We have plenty of big games but there’s really only one fixture to focus on as PSG host Manchester City! Both clubs come into this game under extreme pressure; it’s likely one of them misses out on the next stage. As things stand, Manchester City sit in 22nd and PSG outside the top 24 in 25th. It’s going to be a fascinating night in Paris; you could easily say this is the most important game of the season for both sides and the bigger in the Champions League this season.

Manchester City finish the new Group stage with a home game against Club Brugge so while a loss here would be a massive blow, they will be fully expected to win their final game. You also have the likes of Dinamo Zagreb sitting in 24th; they are away to Arsenal on this matchday too – Arsenal are trading 1.15 to win that. PSG have a trickier fixture on the final matchday as they face Stuttgart away from home; no doubt they will be hot favourites to win that but Stuttgart have the same amount of points as PSG at the moment, but they are away to Slovan Bratislava on this matchday, and they are 1.27 to win that. They are likely to jump over PSG bar a home win here, so that’s clearly going to be a massive game when they meet.

It’s not a surprise to see what we have a very open market here. PSG are the favourites with home advantage at 2.62 with Manchester City 2.76 and the draw is 3.85 at the time of writing. Much has been made of the PSG run in the Champions League this season, but they have been a little unlucky to end up in this position. They have an average xG created very close to 2.0 and then their average xG conceded is just under 1.0. The reality is they probably got the hardest draw possible in this Champions League – they were beaten by Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich – not too surprising given PSG lack major stars this season, and then of course they have this fixture too.

Manchester City have been through a lot this season. They collapsed out of the Premier League title race with just one win from nine games between November and December, and that loss in confidence plus injury issues spilled over into the Champions League. Hammered 4-1 by Ruben Amorim’s Sporting Lisbon was followed by a total collapse 3-0 up against Feyenoord at home to draw 3-3 and then the loss away to Juventus has put Guardiola’s men in this position. While City hammered Ipswich at the weekend, midweek they threw away a 2-0 lead against Brentford in the final ten minutes.

I feel the reality with City this season is that it’s just hard to trust them at the moment. PSG have at least been consistent domestically, but then how bad do they have to be to not win Ligue 1! Both sides have clearly been sloppy at the back, and Over 2.5 goals will be a popular bet at 1.63. I actually felt that would be trading shorter when I clicked into the market. I couldn’t put anyone off that bet, but I feel the City lay here is the best value option – they’ve really struggled away from home this season and sides are playing through them so easily.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (Liability) Manchester City to beat PSG at 2.76 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
