PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW: There is nothing better than an entire week of football! Running from Monday Night football to the Champions League, then the Europa League, the huge game tonight and then games tomorrow and Sunday. Constant entertainment for fans, and the best of the bunch is probably the game on Friday Night Football between Chelsea and Liverpool.

It has been a poor start to the season for me, I haven’t found as many bets I have been confident in that are reasonably priced. I have a better feeling about this weekend

CHELSEA v LIVERPOOL

This promises to be an excellent game this evening. Under Klopp, Liverpool have been excellent in their big games. I really enjoy his philosophy, they go into every game going for the win no matter the opposition. It always makes for good games to watch as it is generally very open when they face the giants of the league. Another thing about Klopp’s philosophy is that they play the same style regardless of if they are home or away. He is very similar to Pep in this way. If you were to solely concentrate on the way they approach each game, you wouldn’t notice the difference between a home or an away game. It always makes them dangerous, but of course it does come with some set backs like their game against Burnley earlier this season.

Chelsea are playing good football thus far under Conte, the players really look to be buying into his game plan. We have seen with integral players like Hazard that they are much happier this year in comparison to last season under Mourinho. Liverpool won this game last year against a Chelsea side that approached the game too cautiously. They concentrated too much on Liverpool’s game, and in the end that is what killed them. Conte will be approaching this game looking for a win, especially after last week’s last gasp draw against Swansea. They are playing good football and Costa looks to be hitting great form which is a terror for defenders. Neither team is in Europe this season which will leave them fresher for the Premier Leaugue, so expect both sides to really go for it tonight.

Believe it or not, teams going out to try and beat Liverpool actually suits them much better. They struggle to break down teams who go out not to lose, but thrive against teams looking to win. Just look at the beginning of the season, Liverpool get a huge win over Arsenal where both teams went for the win, Liverpool fans get optimistic for the season ahead, then they go out and lose to a Burnley side who sat back and hit them on the counter. With the way I expect this game to pan out I give Liverpool a slight edge in this game. They have been really good to watch going forward, and without John Terry in the side I see them having an advantage here. Ivanovic isn’t the player he once was, Cahill is not up to scratch for Chelsea in my opinion and we all know that David Luiz can be a bit erratic at the beack. There is excellent value for Liverpool to repeat last year’s result, with them priced at 3.4. I just don’t think home advantage counts enough against this Liverpool side, and I fancy them to do a job tonight.

MY BEST BET:
Back Liverpool at 3.4.

WEST BROM v WEST HAM

Saturday 3.00pm I have gone for both of these sides already this season only to be let down in the end. I won’t let that deter me from looking at this game though as one must move on and look at each game by its merit. This season has been a struggle for West Ham, no better example of this than last weekend’s 4-2 loss to Watford, after going up 2-0. West Ham’s struggles this season have come at the back, they have just been so poor. Conceding four last week, and by all means it could have been at least seven. They are all over the place, conceding 9 goals already in their four games. That just isn’t good enough. Even with a player like Payet there to create chances at the other end, the defence needs to drastically improve to give them a chance.

West Brom were disappointing last weekend against Bournemouth. They didn’t create many chances at all, which is always a danger for a Tony Pulis side considering his defensive approach to games. They are at home this weekend though, so they should have a bit more adventure to their play. Especially considering how much West Ham have struggled in the defensive department. I thinnk there is definitely at least one goal in West Brom tomorrow, I would be astounded if the Hammers kept a clean sheet. Then you look at the other end of the pitch. It is always a struggle to score against a Pulis side. His sides are always so well drilled defensively that it makes it a nightmare to create chances against them. As always would eb the case when fancying West Brom, look out for a low scoring win for the home side.

MY BEST BET:
Back West Brom at 2.88.

WATFORD v MAN UNITED

Sunday 12.00pm Man United started the season looking a very good side, but all of a sudden they find themselves in a real downward spiral. They have lost two on the bounce. Firstly they were absolutely dominated against arch rivals Mancheter City, where the 2-1 scoreline was flattering for United. They also lost out to Feyenoord in Europe, and although this competition won’t be priority one for Mourinho they still put out a strong side. I backed United against City last weekend, I really thought they could have had a real advantage over the blue side of Manchester. But they honestly didn’t play how they could have. They tried to play football against a Pep Guardiola team, that will never end well for you. Mourinho is really losing out in his head to head battle with Pep, and the effect drageed into their game on Thursday. Now they have some work to do to come out of their slump.

Watford have not beaten Man United since 1986. That is a long time waiting to win, but they will see tomorrow as a great chance to grab a result. They can’t concentrate on the history between these two sides, they need to look at United’s last couple of games and take confidence in this. Lets not forget, Watford also just put four past West Ham last weekend, and although the West Ham defence is in shambles, Watford will still take a world of confidence from that game. It would have been easy for them to fold after going 2-0 down, but they battled back and absolutely tore through the Hammers. Watford have not been very good against the top sides in the league so far this season, being easily beaten by Man City and Arsenal, but both these sides were on terrific form in those games. Man United are coming in on a slump, so this is the time for Watford to extend the slump. They will need a big performance but with the prices as they are I have to go for them to get something from this game.

MY BEST BET:
Lay Man United at 1.69.
