UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE: We preview Monday’s Nations League games between BOSNIA v NORTHERN IRELAND and SPAIN v ENGLAND with recommended BETDAQ bets.
BOSNIA V NORTHERN IRELAND
7.45pm Northern Ireland have it all to do in Group B3 after losing 1-0 to Austria on Friday night. They now sit bottom of the group with no points and looking relegation directly in the eye. They now face the task of having to play the leaders of the group as Bosnia have two wins from two games – going into the game having failed to even score in their last three away games. It’s fair to say that Northern Ireland have a tough night ahead.
Bosnia are odds on favourites, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Bosnia 1.77, Northern Ireland 6.6 and the draw is 3.45. Most of Bosnia’s recent success has came from the back – they haven’t conceded more than one goal in the calendar year which is impressive in International football. When you look at Northern Ireland’s lack of away goals, it’s very hard to see them winning this game. Bosnia are in good form and very solid at home – we feel that they should be shorter than the current 1.77 and we’re happy to back those odds.

SPAIN V ENGLAND
7.45pm England face yet another tough away test on Monday night as they take on Spain. Friday nights match behind closed doors to Croatia almost felt like a training match; but you’d have to be impressive with England – on balance they should have won the game. The bad news for England though is Spain beat Croatia 6-0 and banged in another four goals against Wales to warm up for this clash. Croatia are probably suffering from a tough World Cup hangover but it’s fair to say that England will have to improve on what we’ve seen lately to beat this Spanish side.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Spain 1.68, England 6.2 and the draw is 4.0. England would bite your hand off for another 0-0 scoreline here and a similar game to Friday night; but the atmosphere will be totally different and it’s hard to see Spain not scoring. They had a disappointing World Cup but have bounced back in superb form. They’ve already beaten England away from home and we see no reason why they can’t improve on a one goal win here – they look great value at 1.68.
