LAY NAP LANDED: Success for Shamrock on Wednesday and he now heads to Tramore with a bet in the final race on Thursday’s card partnered by Katie Walsh.

We got the NAP LAY up yesterday but the rewards at SP (7/2) on Exaxt weren’t that great from a layers perspective as he drifted quite significantly from the morning price on BETDAQ of around 6/4 when the bet was advised.

Still, he was a winner for us when finding Brinestine too good in the closing stages. Exact did stay on well though and I’m not sure I’ll be laying him again in a similar contest 😉

Tramore’s seven race card gets underway at 2.45pm this afternoon on yielding ground which is soft in places.

I’m waiting until the final race on the card – the Tramore Racecourse 1912-2012 Centenary Ladies Flat Race. These races are seldom as competitive as the numbers suggest and it’s no surprise to see Nina Carberry and Katie Walsh onboard the BETDAQ market leaders.

Kilvalley and Katie Walsh look the bet of the day. This one ran well at Kilbeggan when chasing home Top Madam (who had Nina onboard) and still has scope for further improvement.

Nina’s ride today Jupitor has so far proved costly to follow and has a lengthy absence to overcome.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Kilvalley (5.45 Tramore)
