LISTED RACE ACTION AT DUNDALK: There’s a good card at Dundalk tonight where the feature race is the Patton Stakes, a Listed race at 6.45.
The interesting runner in the Listed Patton Stakes tonight is the Aidan O’Brien trained Due Dilligence, but he is also the hardest one to assess.
He has his first start for O’Brien tonight having joined the yard from Todd Pletcher in the States. His form there was pretty good, a maiden win at Saratoga followed up by a fourth place in a Grade 3 at Belmont.
The market signals on BETDAQ are quite positive and he could easily prove good enough. Prince Of All has course experience and won his maiden well over the mile trip and should also go close as he steps up in class.
For the nap, I am going to switch to Newmarket for the Feilden Stakes and I am sweet on the chances of the Ger Lyons trained Obliterator who was really impressive when making a winning debut at the Curragh on his first and only start and he is entered up at the highest level this season.
