PREVIEW
York’s match against Fleetwood was postponed at late notice on Saturday night after a deluge of rain in the area. The referee originally delayed the kick off by half an hour but it proved a hopeless causes.
The one thing the play offs are showing us is that goals are a precious commodity – particularly in the first leg of the semi-finals.
It might well be the same today. At 7.45pm, York host Fleetwood – the regular season York lost 2-0 at home to them but then went and beat them 2-1 at Fleetwood – go figure!
York’s revival has very much been one of the stories not only of League Two – but across all divisions.
They were third bottom at Christmas but have somehow made the play off places and are incredibly now unbeaten in their last 17 games, winning 11 and drawing six.
Fleetwood don’t score too many on their travels and the best bet again looks to be a draw.
