SHAMROCK GOING FOR THREE NAPS IN A ROW: SHAMROCK is on for the hat-trick of NAPS following on from TESTED (NAP) WON 2/1 on Thursday and STORM AWAY (NAP) WON 5/4 on Friday.
It should hopefully be a case of third time lucky for Mr Rock in the 3.10 at Wexford this afternoon.
The David Wachman trained runner made an encouraging debut when fourth at Bellewstown and then last time out finished second of four to Annus Mirabilis at Leopardstown.
Thunder Zone ran well enough on his debut when third to Cailini Alainn at Leopardstown but was beaten over seven lengths and the ground was soft.
Zanka has the most experience in the field and came closest yet to losing her maiden tag at Tramore last time out when second to Callistan when a 25/1 chance.
The well-bred Croi Na Feile makes her debut for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning but only cost $10,000 as a yearling which in today’s world is bargain basement.
In summary, Mr Rock can hopefully continue to improve and land this to give me my third consecutive nap.
