NAP 2nd at 11/2: SHAMROCK bids to go one better with his nap of the day running in the 2.55 at Navan.
The nap Siobhans Beauty ran well yesterday to take second at 11/2 at Tipperary.
At Navan today the frustrating Chiclet bids to make it 13th time lucky in the opening maiden !! She has finished second in six of her 12 starts and having burned my fingers following her on a couple of occasions I’m afraid she goes without my support today.
Plenty of interesting maidens on today’s card, not least of which in the two mile maiden at 2.55 when the Cheltenham Festival bumper winner Silver Concorde makes his flat debut for Dermot Weld. He subsequently ran in the Punchestown Champion Bumper and finished second to Shaneshill who revered Cheltenham form.
He should outclass his rivals here and looks the bet on the card.
After a good price nap yesterday I’m playing much safer odds today.
