PREVIEW
With both Brighton and Leeds being knocked out of the Carling Cup this week by Liverpool and Manchester United respectively, the Championship sides can fully focus all their efforts on their league campaigns.
Brighton have made an impressive start to the season and sit comfortably in third. Last season’s League Two champs have only lost one game of the seven they have played in the division above, but that came in their last match away at Leicester. Gus Poyet will want to see a reaction from his side who are available at around 2.16 on BETDAQ.
Even though Albion haven’t clinched a win against United since 2006, with tonight’s fixture being played at the Amex Stadium, Albion will be confident of delivering that.
The visitors made a less than convincing start to the season, picking up just four points from their opening five games. However, they have shown signs of improvement, winning their last two.
Simon Grayson will, though, be aware that his team are yet to claim a victory on the road and it appears that the trend is likely to continue – a United triumph is trading at around 3.65.
RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Brighton at around 2.16: 5 points
Thursday’s Return: -2 points
