This weekend sees the start of the 2015-16 Spanish Primera Liga season and I expect this years Spanish title race to go right down to the wire come next May.

Current Champions FC Barcelona are in for an almighty battle to maintain their status as champion’s of Spain and their current odds on price of 1.77 on Betdaq is not something that I would view as value. The Catatalun club got away with a very suspect defence last season and the loss of their legendary midfielder Xavi Hernandez is already being felt.

Rafa Benitez has been brought in by Real Madrid to steer the club back to the title they last won in the 2011-12 season.

Real Madrid have been exceptionally quiet in the transfer market and bar a reserve goalkeeper have brought in only Brazilian defender Danillo and young Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
Kovacic looks an exceptional talent however it is abig ask to put him at the centre of a Real Madrid title winning challenge in his first season in La Liga. In short ,Real Madrid have the same squad as last season when they failed to win a trophy so their odds of 2.75 on Betdaq is not for me.

Diego’s Simeone’s Atletico Madrid, La Liga Champion’s two seasons ago, really felt the loss of striker Diego Costa last season and his replacement, Mario Mandzukic, really did not work out as planned and has since sensibly been moved onto Juventus. Simeone has managed his summer transfer business shrewdly this season bringing in the much sought after ex-Porto striker Jackson Martinez for €35 million. Also returning is a key member of their la Liga winning team from two season’s ago, defender, Felipe Luis.

With Atletico’s brilliant manager, always solid defence and new look attacking partnership of Griezman & Martinez I feel Atletico can again go all the way.

So for me it’s Atletico Madrid to again be crowned CHAMPIONS of Spain at a solid price of 21.0 on BETDAQ.
