As the nanny English authorities spend their time revamping the big-race scene, tying the jockey’s arms behind his back, and struggling with a welter burden of mediocre fixtures like an amateur rider trying to jump out of the mud, Ireland does indeed get better. And better.
Dewhurst, Middle Park, Cheveley Park. We’re looking close to a clean sweep of the English two-year-old classics. And we’re not done with by any means.
