SEDGEFIELD AND LINGFIELD DOUBLE: MULTIMAN heads to Sedgefield and Lingfield on Tuesday for a double on BETDAQ MULTIPLES.
The double hardly got off to the best start yesterday when Lamps refused to race !!!
Even though I had a vested interest in the race and my pocket should speak otherwise I think the decision to deem it a runner was entirely CORRECT.
The reason being is that it would be unfair on the layers to have made it a non runner. The horse had previously been reluctant to race at Ffos Las and was also reluctant to even go down to the start at Southwell yesterday so the layers surely took this into account in their pricing. Certainly the 15/8 SP was much bigger than forecast in the morning.
In the end, the second selection got beaten by a 33/1 shot so it was truly a day to forget Sad smile

SMART TALK
Small fields are the order of the day at Sedgefield and Smart Talk really should outclass her rivals in the opener. She is penalised for her Worcester win but scored with a ton in hand.
2.30 Lingfield
SOLSTICE STAR
When it’s heavy at Lingfield it really is HEAVY. Solstice Star showed he was a mudlark when winning on soft ground at Chepstow last week – making all the running for an easy 10 length success. He escapes a penalty as it was a conditional jockeys race.
The double is paying around 3.02 on BETDAQ MULTIPLES.
