5 NAPS IN A ROW: SHAMROCK landed his FIFTH CONSECUTIVE WINNING NAP with Roman Impero at Dundalk last night.

Feature race on heavy ground at Punchestown this afternoon is the Grade 2 Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle at 2.05 and all eyes will be on the Willie Mullins trained Min who is already favourite for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Festival.
Mullins has won the last two runnings of this with Vautour and Douvan so it’s no surprise to see Min at, pardon the pun, minimum odds to prove he’s right out of the top drawer too. The French import looked extra special when winning here at Punchestown on his Irish debut.
With a sequence of naps to preserve the temptation is to put him up – but he’s too short – even for me !!
The nap goes instead on another Mullins runner. Union Dues in the 2.40. He has a lengthy absence to overcome but that’s never a factor for me with this stable. He has plenty of class – winning a Grade 2 bumper but hasn’t been seen since winning on the flat in 2013. He can start making up for lost time.
