Tongie is my best bet of the day in the novice hurdle at 3.50. His only previous win came here when making all the running and he was recently pitched in at a very deep end when last of five to Min in the Grade 2 Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle at Punchestown. Most recently, he was a fair handicap second at Gowran Park and had the rest of the field well strung out in behind.
Ice Cool heads the BETDAQ market but hasn’t run well here at Limerick in two previous starts. He is however, in good form generally and, like the selection, relishes the testing ground.
