THREE NAPS OUT OF FOUR: SHAMROCK landed his third winning nap of the week with LONG ISLAND SOUND (NAP) WON 5/6 at Dundalk last night.
The market spoke for my nap Long Island Sound last night and it proved spot on with the Aidan O’Brien trained runner winning well to land my THIRD WINNING NAP from the last FOUR.
Good luck to Willie Mullins in his Champion Trainer quest at Sundown Park this afternoon. DAQMAN has previewed each race in detail in today’s column.
Back in Ireland, Saturday’s racing comes from Limerick with a seven race flat card under way at 1.55pm with ground soft (soft to heavy in places).
Feature race is the Martin Molony Stakes at 4.15 and the Aidan O’Brien trained Bondi Beach is likely to start a warm order.
He has plenty in hand on official ratings but whether he will be fully wound up for this, on his seasonal reappearance, is questionable and I’m not sure I want to be rushing to take a short price.
He hasn’t been seen since finishing well down the field in the Melbourne Cup.
Altesse appeals more at the prices today. She won a Listed race at Leopardstown last time out and comes here race fit unlike her principal market rivals.
