The six horse race was reduced to three and incredibly Snoozing Indian was trading at a bigger price on BETDAQ than he was in the morning BEFORE one of the main dangers, From Eden, was pulled out !!
In the end he was no match for Elltaaf who was reluctant to go in the stalls and Iām rather wishing he hadnāt consented to now. At least it would have been a winning nap – even if it was a two horse race !!
Again itās a mix of flat and jumps racing tonight with cards at Bellewstown and Wexford.
I think the Dermot Weld trained Palmetto Dunes is worth another chance in the 5.35 at Bellewstown.
He was a rare horse that DIDNāT win for Dermot Weld at Galway last season when finishing second in a maiden and has proved disappointing in two subsequent starts at York and Dundalk.
However, this is a very weak maiden and a reproduction of his Galway form should easily be good enough providing Joseph OāBrienās debutant Majestic Flyer isnāt anything exceptional.
