TUESDAY CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Champions League action returns tonight and we preview the games featuring Arsenal, Celtic and the standout tie at the Etihad: Man City v Barcelona.
Manchester City v Barcelona
7.45pm It’s difficult what conclusions to draw from the game between the two of these at the Camp Nou as you’d have to say that City were certainly the best team in the first half and for bits of the second half – they just made horrendous mistakes and you get punished when you make mistakes against Barcelona – if they cut out those mistakes, would they have a chance here?
The stats aren’t in their favour anyway, Barcelona have won all five previous games between the sides, and won their last two trips to the Etihad – and if you thought they weren’t as strong away as they are at home, they’ve scored in their last 20 away games in the Champions League Group stages. It’s hard to see Barcelona not finding the net at some stage which makes City winning here unlikely, although they could get away with a draw, all things considered and at the prices, Barcelona draw-no-bet at 1.87 appeals as the best option.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Barcelona draw-no-bet to beat Manchester City at 1.87.

Ludogorets v Arsenal
7.45pm Arsenal thrashed Ludogorets 6-0 when the sides met in London and even allowing for home advantage here, it’s difficult to see how Ludogorets turn that around to get anywhere close to Arsenal. With Arsenal currently trading at 1.33 in the 90 minutes market though, we’ll have to look around elsewhere for something a bit bigger to tip. The handicap markets are an obviously place to start and we can’t get away from Arsenal -1.5 goals at 1.9, we feel that offers huge value – Ludogorets don’t have a good record at home in the Champions League and we expect Arsenal to totally outclass them again.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Arsenal -1.5 goals to beat Ludogorets at 1.9.

Broussia Mgladbach v Celtic
7.45pm We felt in our last betting preview that Celtic could get a result against Mgladbach with home advantage but they were disappointing in losing 2-0, and if they couldn’t get a result at home – its hard to see how they can get a result here.
Mgladbach are on an impressive run defensively too, since Schalke put four past them six games ago, they have only conceded twice in five games, both goals coming in the same game too against Bayern Munich, who you would expect to beat them anyway.
With that in mind they could easily get a clean sheet here against Celtic, and with under 2.5 goals trading 2.4, that is quite a tempting bet and Brendan Rogers will probably set up to be quite defensive to begin with. However, Mgladbach -1 goal on the Asian Handicap is too big to ignore at 1.98 – a win by 1 goal would void it and we see Mgladbach winning to nil here, hopefully 2-0 or maybe 3-0, and we feel that this option offers a shade more value than under 2.5 goals at 2.4.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Mgladbach -1 Asian Handicap to beat Celtic at 1.98.
