PREMIER LEAGUE MONDAY: We preview Monday’s match between LEICESTER v LIVERPOOL with a recommended BETDAQ bet in the first match for Leicester since the departure of Claudio Ranieri.

8pm What a week it’s been for Leicester City. After a reasonably good result midweek in the Champions League, the clubs owners sacked Claudio Ranieri and it’s hard to know what to expect from the players here. The rumors are that the players wanted Ranieri out, which is amazing considering what happened last season.
One wonders what the atmosphere will be like at the King Power Stadium too, given that the general reaction to the sacking has been it was the wrong decision. The decision has certainly turned the average football fan against Leicester, for the time being anyway, which is quite the turnaround given a lot of people wanted them to win the league last season.
Moving onto this game, the hard facts are that Leicester have lost six on the bounce in all competitions and have been pretty poor this season – if rumors are to be believed though, you could see a different attitude from the players here and a better Leicester. Liverpool have been poor in 2017 too so lumping on them doesn’t seem to be free money, however they got back to winning ways against Spurs last time out and had previously drew to Chelsea – it’s hard to explain how they can get those two results while losing to Swansea, Wolves and Hull!
Liverpool do look short at 1.66 though, even allowing for how poor Leicester have been lately. You always get a bounce after a manager goes too, but we still feel that we don’t want to rely on Leicester and lay Liverpool. So we’re going to stick to the goals market for some value – eight of Leicester last 12 at home in the league have seen over 2.5 goals while Liverpool have been leaking goals lately but obviously have a very good attacking line-up. Meaning we feel we will see lots of goals in this clash and with over 2.5 trading 1.85 that is the best value call here.
