PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s two Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets. Burnley v Man U and Liverpool v Crystal Palace.
BURNLEY V MANCHESTER UNITED
2.15pm Manchester United needed extra time at Old Trafford on Thursday night to see off Anderlecht in the Europa League, and it remains to be seen whether Jose Mourinho may rest a player or two after that battle. Nevertheless, they should be able to see off this Burnley side who are on a poor run at the moment. They’ve managed just one win in their last ten Premier League games, and have managed just three goals in their last six games.
United are rightly odds on, with the odds at the time of writing; Burnley 6.0, Manchester United 1.7 and the draw 4.0. Looking at the stats for this one has thrown up something interesting! United’s unbeaten run is now 22 games, and any Premier League side that has managed that many unbeaten games in a row has won the title! It goes to show how many draws they’ve had really.
One of United’s problems this season has been scoring, and under 2.5 goals definitely has to be of interest at 1.78. Especially considering that Burnley haven’t been scoring lately and that United had a tough game on Thursday night. We feel that there is value in backing United at 1.7 with Burnley’s current form, however under 2.5 goals appeals more at 1.78 and that will be our best bet to start Sunday’s action.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.78.

LIVERPOOL V CRYSTAL PALACE
4.30pm This should be a good game, with both sides in form. Bringing in Sakho has been a stroke of genius from Big Sam and he has made a huge difference to Palace in recent weeks, only Chelsea have managed to beat them in their last six, and that includes a 3-0 thrashing of Arsenal. Liverpool certainly feel a little short at 1.52, while Crystal Palace are 7.2 and the draw is 4.8 at the time of writing.
Palace have won on their last two visits here too, however looking at Liverpool’s more recent Premier League record at Anfield – they’ve only lost once in their last 24 games here. So maybe the Palace win isn’t too appealing but there are reasons to lay Liverpool at the odds given Palace’s good form.
The bet we like though is over 2.5 goals at 1.7. Liverpool’s problems have been at the back this season and they haven’t kept many clean sheets. Palace have seen over 2.5 goals in all of their last four and this should be nicely set up for an end-to-end open game. Overs appeals at the odds for us.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.7.
