ENABLE CLEAR IN THE RATINGS: Fortune Cookies achieves three of the four highest ratings in Daqman’s own survey of the best horses in action on the turf in the second half of the season. Here are his top two dozen ratings, including his 10 Fortune Cookies to follow, marked with an asterisk. Top of the lot, Enable, goes further ahead.
THREE TUESDAY BETS: DAQMAN has three bets on Tuesday at Bath, Beverley and a nap at Thirsk.
FORTUNE COOKIES: ORANGE AID
She’s better than ever. After her Irish Oaks triumph, Enable gets a further rise in his ratings from Daqman, the man who spotted her first when she was 25-1 for the Epsom Oaks on BETDAQ. Also raised is Ulysses, a 9-1 winner of the Eclipse for the Daqman Fortune Cookies.
Fortune Cookies are asterisked in this list of top-rated horses, in which Daqman’s ratings are on the left and the RPR (Racing Post) in brackets at right of the horse’s name, with latest target dates for the leading 15.
Note that Order Of St George swerves a Goodwood Cup rematch with Big Orange, his Ascot Gold Cup conqueror, leaving the Orange with much less to do.
Churchill is now promised to a clash with Ribchester in the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood on August 2.

LAST SPIN OF THE COIN
2.15 Beverley Ben My Chree went into my notebook after an eye-catching debut over course and distance 11 days ago.
The grey filly took time for the penny to drop but put in a good effort having been nibbled at from 16/1 into 12/1 in the market.
She’s much shorter at 3.45 on the DAQ for this opener but can put the experience to good use and looks the best of those with form.
Tember showed promise on debut at Redcar but if anything seemed to head backwards on that effort next time out at Carlisle when only sixth – the good to soft ground may have been the excuse and he is forgiven on that basis and might be the one to most trouble the selection.
3.30 Bath A class 3 handicap is as good as it gets this afternoon and this looks destined to go to the lightly raced Yalawin. The Roger Varian trained runner was runner-up in a class 2 at Windsor last time out but will find this much easier.
Mr Pocket has had his pocket picked in the closing stages of his last two races finding one too good on both occasions but the handicapper has added another 2lb for those efforts which looks harsh.
6.10 Thirsk Spinnaka rates the nap bet on Tuesday. The Luca Cumani trained filly has had plenty of chances but none as easy as this and apprentice rider Gabriele Malune can gain her fourth success of the season.
With form figures of 2-25222 punters are right to raise an eyebrow but in her case she doesn’t look un-resolute and I think it’s more a case of her simply being unlucky.
She has been taking on much better class horses and a reproduction of her Newbury second over tonight’s trip should easily be good enough.
The Mark Johnston trained Aclimatise didn’t show much on debut but improved significantly last time out to finish a three quarters of a length second to Mooltazem at Ripon in a race where the field were well strung out and he looks the one to chase home the Newmarket raider.
