CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s Champions League match between ASTANA v CELTIC with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

4.30pm Celtic put this tie to bed when winning the first leg 5-0 at home last week, however that doesn’t mean that there isn’t value bets on the second leg. We have a very open match odds markets, with the odds at the time of writing Astana 3.05, Celtic 2.52 and the draw 3.5.
Celtic at 2.52 will appeal to many after seeing the first leg, and possibly rightly so – however this is always a tough place to travel to for sides, and if it’s still level with 20 minutes to go, Celtic will hardly be busting a gut to win and that’s what you want for you when backing something at 2.52. So we’re happy to skip this bet. Astana don’t make much appeal at 3.05 either – they barely troubled the Celtic goal last week, and are having some problems with players wanting to leave.
With little value to be had in the match odds market, we like the look of under 2.5 goals at 1.91 which looks big. As we noted above, Astana looked poor in front in the first leg, and with Celtic just needing to not ship goals – we expect them to be very tight at the back and focus on that part of their game towards the start. With that in mind, this could a pretty dull affair, and unders looks the value.
