SATURDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet in each. The action starts at 12.30pm with Crystal Palace v Southampton.
CRYSTAL PALACE V SOUTHAMPTON
12.30pm Crystal Palace v Southampton is the early Saturday kick off this weekend and that means that all bets are 0% commission on BETDAQ, so let’s find a winner! Palace sit rock bottom with no points from four games, however it was all change during the week as they sacked Frank de Boer – we’ve seen a club bounce back quickly so many times after sacking a manager that it’s hard to read too much into Palace’s recent games now so let’s focus on Southampton. The Saints have failed to score in eight of their last ten games, and appear to be really struggling at the moment. They haven’t been playing top teams either, they’ve already failed to find the net at home to Swansea and Watford and away to Huddersfield this season – so the 2.7 on an away win here looks terribly short to us, and that really looks to be a value lay.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 2.7.

HUDDERSFIELD V LEICESTER
3pm Huddersfield have made a superb start to the Premier League season with seven points after four games, unfortunately they recorded their first loss on Monday night against West Ham, however they will be delighted to sit sixth in the table at the moment. Leicester are currently all the way down in 17th looking up at Huddersfield, however they have had to play Arsenal Manchester United and Chelsea in three of their four games – they won the other at home to Brighton. It’s hard to read too much into Leicester’s form, however they did managed to score four goals against those top three sides, so perhaps the away win is good value here at 2.32. We feel though that this one will be a very close affair, and prefer the draw at 3.45.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.45.

LIVERPOOL V BURNLEY
3pm It hasn’t been a good week for Jurgen Klopp’s side, however Burnley at home offer a great chance to bounce back to winning ways. They’ll be hoping that this game doesn’t end up like Burnley’s first game of the season when they ended up 3-0 up against Chelsea, however bar the Manchester City game, Liverpool look to be in decent form and this should be a smooth home win. They’re only 1.29 in the match odds market and while they are appealing on the handicap, Liverpool’s games have been jam packed with goals thus far this season and we expect that trend to continue here. Over 3.5 goals is 2.54 and that looks a shade too big.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 3.5 goals at 2.54.

NEWCASTLE V STOKE
3pm After being many punters outside tip for relegation, Stoke have managed to beat Arsenal and draw with Manchester United in their opening four games. They wont achieve a great deal this season, however based on what we’ve seen, they wont be fighting to stay up either. Newcastle are in good form though, winning their last two games and keeping two clean sheets while doing so. Both sides look very solid at the back and we expect this to be a very tight affair with not much between the sides – under 2.5 goals is trading 1.77 and that definitely looks to be the bet here.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.77.

WATFORD V MANCHESTER CITY
3pm What most of the Premier League fear, it appears Manchester City have found their scoring boots this week! Five goals last weekend against Liverpool and another four midweek in the Champions League see Pep Guardiola’s side arrive into this tie on a wave of confidence. Watford have done OK at the start of the season, however they do leave gaps at the back – as seen in the 3-3 here against Liverpool – and it’s hard not to see anything other than a comfortable City win. They’re currently trading 1.99 -1.5 goals which looks massive given their form at the moment.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City -1.5 goals to beat Watford at 1.99.

WEST BROM V WEST HAM
3pm West Brom were bitterly disappointing when losing 3-1 to Brighton last weekend, and this will be a really interesting game against West Ham who bagged their first win of the season against Huddersfield on Monday night. It’s a pretty open market, with West Brom 2.42, West Ham 3.45 and the draw 3.3 at the time of writing. Even though West Ham got off the mark Monday, they were pretty lucky with their first goal and while West Brom were disappointing last weekend, we feel they can bounce straight back to winning ways with home advantage, and the 2.42 looks a few ticks too big.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
West Brom to beat West Ham at 2.42.

TOTTENHAM V SWANSEA
5.30pm Spurs managed to get a decent win at Wembley midweek against Dortmund in the Champions League, and will be hoping to follow that up with their first Premier League win here. It’s fair to say that the home side will probably win this one (stating the obvious!), however they are currently 1.25 and based on what we seen here against Burnley and Chelsea, that price looks terribly short. It was disappointing to see Swansea lose to Newcastle last weekend, especially with home advantage – but they had been pretty OK before that bar the last ten minutes against United. With Spurs trading so short, we’re going to take a chance and lay them.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Tottenham at 1.25.
